the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg invites you to the big study information day on
Thursday, 27.06.2024, from 14:00 to 17:30
Egerlandstraße 7 (entrance via Martensstraße), 91058 Erlangen.
Parking spaces are available near the event (Egerlandstraße, Immerwahrstraße and Martensstraße).
Experience electromobility, industrial engineering, mechatronics and mechanical engineering live, take a test ride on the “Segway”, experience exciting demonstrations in our laboratories, gain insider information from students about the department’s attractive degree programs and much more. Here is a selection of program items (draft):
- Experience virtual reality
- What moves machines
- Destroying for a good cause
- Digitization of a miniaturized car B-pillar (simulation, forming process, analysis)
- Forming of bipolar plates for fuel cells with 3D-printed tools
- Short presentations on the courses on offer (approx. 25 mins each)
- Insider information about the course
- Segway course
- Personalized shopping cart chips
Registration is not required, everyone is welcome. As a “supporting program”, the big TechFak summer party with live music, barbecue and cool drinks will take place on the same day.
